Tuesday Evening Women's Bible Study Registration

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8pm, starting Jan. 16 | Resumes Tuesday, Jan. 16
Studies: The Good Gospel by Jennie Allen, Jackie Hill Perry, & Jamie Ivey followed by Free of Me by Sharon Hodde Miller
A no-homework small group study.
Watching Right Now Media videos each week, facilitated by women in the group.

For the fall the group will be doing two studies:
Sept. 19-Oct. 24 | Get Out of Your Head - a study of Philippians (Jennie Allen) Study Guide: $12
Are your thoughts holding you captive? Jennie Allen knows what it’s like to swirl in a spiral of destructive thoughts, such as I’ll never be good enough. Other people have better lives than I do. God couldn’t really love me. But Jennie also knows we don’t have to stay stuck in toxic thinking patterns. As she discovered, God built a way for us to escape that downward spiral. Freedom comes when we refuse to be victims to our thoughts and realize we have already been equipped with power from God to fight and win the war for our minds.

In Get Out of Your Head, Jennie takes groups on a study in Philippians, inspiring and equipping us to transform our emotions, our outlook, and even our circumstances by taking control of our thoughts. When we submit our minds to Christ, the promises and goodness of God flood our lives in remarkable ways. It starts in your head. And from there, the possibilities are endless.

Nov. 7-Dec. 5 | Fire and Faithfulness - a study of Daniel (Sadie Robertson Huff). No study guide needed.
We live in a world that doesn’t care what God wants. Sure, they may not say it that way, but the messages that parade across social media declare that God’s way just isn’t worth it. But as Christians, we’re committed to following Jesus in every aspect of our lives. Is it possible to live—or maybe even thrive—as a believer in our world today?

In this four-session series with Sadie Robertson Huff, discover the lost art of faithfulness in the face of a world that wants nothing to do with God. Trek through the story of four young Israelites who, when ripped from their homes, faced a choice: remain faithful followers in a foreign land, or bow before an empire that hated God.
Videos for both are available through Right Now Media (free through Thornapple) so you can watch if you need to miss a week.
